Thankful for having something to be thankful for!:)

Happy Thanksgiving!!:)
I have had a super duper Thanksgiving..Lots of yummy food!!:) I am thankful for my friends, family, parents, teachers, coaches, peers, classmates, teammates, God, Jesus!!:) I am so thankful for everything!! & It's all thanks to my wonderful Heavenly Father!! I was in the middle of a big bowl of banana pudding when mom told me that they were driving my aunt to the hospital..my aunt has cancer and could die anytime now...Anways, she's at the hospital and having to stay over night.....They don't think she's gunna make it through this time...I'm sooo thankful that atleast she was able to have one last Thanksgiving with all of her family. I love you Lord!! You amaze me!! I pray that you keep everyone safe tonight, tomorrow, that the weather cheers up:), that you keep strong, & that you keep a smile on my face! I love you Lord!! You are absolutely wonderful & brilliant. Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for giving me everything I'm thankful for!!!!!!!!

A Steph Step in the Right Direction...:)!

My day was been wonderful..:)
& I feel like God has been holding my hand the whole day.:)
I talked to mom about church & she's actually letting me go.. shocker!
& She's even letting the twins go...Double shocker!
I can't believe I finally get to go to church.. may not be the church I prefer but, hey, it's a step in the right direction!!:)

"My days have be confusing..more than I can bare. I've been struggling with smiling. I just seem not to care..Don't know what I'm supposed to do, can't find the words to explain..That maybe, it's because I'm letting Satan get in the way & accepting the pain!" < Heck to the No!

After taking steps backward these past few weeks, I've finally woken up & realized what I was doing. I was telling my self to screw it & that I was just a pile of crap. I just lost all confidence in myself & gave up..That's what I get for falling for satan's stupid stupidness. Well put, I know. :) But, not anymore! My heart & mind are GOD'S! My heavenly father! I have Jesus's blood running through my veins, so satan can go jump offa cliff for all I care! You aren't tricking me again & if you somehow manage to trick me again, I'll just go right back to my Heavenly Father & My Amazing Brother Jesus! So ya might as well give up! In fact, I demand you to stay away from me & my family & friends. God said that if we want you to go away, you have to go away!! So bye!
I love my amazing God!!!!!!!!!!:) I love how He forgives. I love how He Loves me. I love how He created me, you,..this amazing world! I love Him for making the beautiful sky & I love Him for saving me & I love Him for EVERYTHING! He is amazing!!

Thank you, Lord. :) Thank you for reminding me who I am & for giving me amazing family, friends, & teachers to help me through the hard times when I seem to doubt myself, get confused, & when I need to vent. I know I have to stay strong & keep my head high & my mind on what I believe & trust me Lord, I will continue following your Will, no matter how many people laugh at me, judge me, "forbid" me, try to distract me...I'm all yours, Lord. Thank you for waking me up today!!!!

God, Give me the strength to deal with all this stress. I put it in your hands and lean on you to take care of this. Amen.

I've been struggling with staying "strong" & w/ staying on the right track. I've been easily distracted & it's stressing me out & leading me to take steps Away from God instead of Towards, which is so totally not what I want! I want to continue getting closer to God! I don't want to keep getting closer, then get distracted and slowly take a papa bear sized step back! That's Not what I want. God, I love you with all my heart.
I wish I could explain further but, mother insists I sleep.

Prayer:)

Praying.
It's something that I do a lot. & I do mean a lot. I've always been told that when you're happy, pray. When you're sad, pray. When you're mad, pray. When you're bored..Pray!! Make time for praying all the time!:) Praying is when you talk to God. I pray throughout the day but, the time I really let it all out is right before I go to bed. I thank God for everything, I ask for forgiveness for things I may have done, I ask for guidance when I need it, I pray for strength & wisdom when I need it most. I pretty much tell Him about my day & when I'm struggling, even though He Already knows. I just let it all out. & Guess what! God listens!!:) God is my best friend & if He isn't yours, He can be!! He'll listen when you need listened & He'll always be with you!! I included a picture with the thing Footprints in the Sand, one of my favorite things ever.:) Anyways, if you don't pray, you totally should!! It's a big step towards getting closer with God & you can never be too close too God but, you can be too far! Praying, is a very important part of your relationship with God. I can't even begin to explain, you're just going to have to trust me, you are going to have to trust God. Give it a try! Whenever you're sad, happy, mad, bored, hot, cold, confused, in love, busy, whatever....Pray!!

Matthew 26:41 states: "Keep alert and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you, For though the spirit is willing enough, the body is weak!"

Footprints In The Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.


In each I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.


This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord..


"You promised me Lord that if I followed You, You would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed You most, have You not been there for me?"


The Lord replied, "The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

Why Do I Love God? :)

Why do I love God?
I've been questioned, A Lot. about why I love God? It's a reasonable question,I guess. Because, as I often forget, anyone who hasn't been saved, or anyone who doesn't really know who God is, wouldn't know this. They probably think it's kind of dumb for me to love Something that I've never "seen with my own eyes." But, that's where everyone is wrong. I have seen God with my own eyes..well, atleast close enough! Everything that you can think of, God created! God created me, you, the beautiful sky, chocolate icecream, sports, flip-flops, EVERYTHING. So, I have seen the 'proof' "with my own eyes." The proof is us!! God created us & God loves us. I love God because He loves me. He loved me enough to create me & give me family, friends, food, shelter, an amazing school with amazing teachers, God & Jesus saved me from my sins & I love being one of God's children. I used to wonder all the same things, I wondered why everyone's facebook statuses or blogs always talked about God. I always wondered why everyone loved God so much. Well, I didn't find out why until I gave God a chance!! I remember the day I got saved, & it was the absolute best day of my life!! I will talk about it in another post on another day. but, for anyone who doesn't know who God is, who thinks I'm crazy, or who anyone who is or isn't interested, I challenge YOU ALL to give God a chance!! I promise you, it won't be something you'll regret. I have never met anyone who has regretted following God's plan & putting God first in their life. & I know a lot of people. I pray that you take me seriously & you give God a chance. Because God loves you!! No matter what you've done, no matter what you've thought, He will forgive you because you are a child of God no matter how old you are! Don't let Satan control you, he'll try to convince you that I'm some fruitfly but, what I speak of is the truth! My God is AWESOME!! & He does love you!!!!

Hi, I'm Steph Alderson:)
My age & all that stuff doesn't matter. What mattes is that I am the daughter of an amazing God!!:) The only God!! & I am the sister of Jesus Christ!:) <3

Maybe I should start off by saying I'm not some brainwashed fruitcake..However, my friends do call me spacy.:) I'm just like any other person..I love sports,laughing,smiling,having fun,eating,reading, & blah blah blah. but, I also LOVE MY GOD!:) Some may not understand, & that's ok..All I'm asking is for you not to judge me, to give me a chance. This is my first post, a rather poor one at that, & my other blog, you'd get to know me & my whole life. In this blog, I'm wanting to just talk about my life of living for God.:) So, if your wanting to know my favorite hobbies, "gossip", etc..Go to my other blog because ya won't see any of that here.

I'm just a clumsy, spacey, dumb blonde kid, who wants to live her whole life for God. & as hard as that is, I won't give up. I love my awesome God!!!!!:)
